Helmets & Concussion Statement

Helena Small Fry takes your athlete's safety seriously. A properly fitted helmet is the first step in player protection. Helena Small Fry fits all athlete's during equipment pickup day prior to contact practices. If you choose to provide your own equipment, Helena Small Fry must verify your child's equipment fits properly at equipment pickup.

Each year, Helena Small Fry replaces approximately one hundred helmets in our rotation. As required, our helmets are reconditioned and retired per the National requirements. Helena Small Fry's helmet stock consists of the Riddell Victor, Riddell Speed Classic, and Schutt Vengeance. Read more about the helmets HSF offers and proper fittings below.
